{"id":746,"date":"2019-01-07T19:09:55","date_gmt":"2019-01-07T19:09:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bellevillecursillo.org\/?p=746"},"modified":"2019-01-07T19:09:55","modified_gmt":"2019-01-07T19:09:55","slug":"lay-director-december-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/bellevillecursillo.org\/?p=746","title":{"rendered":"Lay Director &#8211; December 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>December\nUltreya <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With\nthe Cursillistas in Du Quoin from last year\u2019s Weekends and the new Cursillistas\nanticipated to attend the Cursillo Weekends this spring, there are enough\nCursillistas in Du Quoin and the surrounding area to support a regularly\nscheduled Ultreya.&nbsp;&nbsp; To start this\nprocess, an Ultreya was held, with support from the Belleville Ultreya, in the\nParish Center at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin, IL, on December 8,\n2018.&nbsp; The Ultreya was well-attended and\nshould serve as a good example to follow for future Du Quoin Ultreyas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plans\nare on schedule for the Cursillo Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s Weekends at the Adorers of\nthe Blood of Christ Motherhouse in Ruma, IL, in March 2019.&nbsp;&nbsp; However, the number of applications received\nfor the Women\u2019s Weekend exceeds the capacity of the Motherhouse in Ruma.&nbsp;&nbsp; A second Weekend for women is being\nconsidered in anticipation of additional applications that will be added to the\nwaiting list of women candidates.&nbsp; A host\nof issues such as date, location, team, and spiritual direction need to be\nresolved before a second Cursillo Weekend can be held.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nBelleville Ultreya closed 2018 with a fun-filled Christmas social run by Jerry\nPalmisano.&nbsp; In addition to the usual\ngrouping and goodies, we enjoyed a Christmas Trivia session and a wonderful\nChristmas songfest accompanied by the guitars of Terry Kostel and Steve Hughes.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\nwant to thank everyone who has worked to make 2018 a successful year, and I\nlook forward to working with everyone in 2019.&nbsp;&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Love,\nJoy, Peace, and De Colores<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bob\nMcCormack<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>December Ultreya With the Cursillistas in Du Quoin from last year\u2019s Weekends and the new Cursillistas anticipated to attend the [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[6],"tags":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"http:\/\/bellevillecursillo.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/746"}],"collection":[{"href":"http:\/\/bellevillecursillo.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"http:\/\/bellevillecursillo.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/bellevillecursillo.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/bellevillecursillo.org\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=746"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"http:\/\/bellevillecursillo.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/746\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":747,"href":"http:\/\/bellevillecursillo.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/746\/revisions\/747"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"http:\/\/bellevillecursillo.org\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=746"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/bellevillecursillo.org\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=746"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/bellevillecursillo.org\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=746"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
