{"id":863,"date":"2019-07-08T16:19:47","date_gmt":"2019-07-08T16:19:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bellevillecursillo.org\/?p=863"},"modified":"2019-07-08T16:20:33","modified_gmt":"2019-07-08T16:20:33","slug":"schoole-of-leaders-june-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bellevillecursillo.org\/?p=863","title":{"rendered":"School of Leaders &#8211; June 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We have had some lively and\nthoughtful conversations in School of Leaders so far this year.&nbsp; A giant <strong>THANK YOU to all of the 4<sup>th<\/sup>\nDay<\/strong> who have come <strong>to share and listen<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>National Cursillo Movement<\/strong>\nhas published an article on its Website that not only sheds light on the School\nof Leaders, but also offers an encouraging \u201cwarm-and-fuzzy\u201d about the\n\u201cLeaders.\u201d&nbsp; It is really a <strong>\u201cSchool of\nThought<\/strong>,<strong>\u201d<\/strong> where we\ncome together to <strong>\u201cexplore and deepen\u201d<\/strong> our understanding, and gain wisdom\nand insight from each other.&nbsp; These are\npeople who <strong>\u201cwant to understand the WHY of things.<\/strong> . . . They do not\nteach by preaching but rather by being <strong>living witnesses<\/strong> to the very\nessence of the Charism.\u201d&nbsp; The School is a\n<strong>\u201cgroup\nof friends<\/strong>,<strong>\u201d<\/strong>\nwhere we deepen our own understanding of our own role as leaders in our\nEnvironments.&nbsp; \u201cThe School of Leaders is\nfirst and foremost, a <strong>School of Listening<\/strong>, not teaching.\u201d&nbsp; As a group of friends, <strong>our service to\nothers flows from friendship<\/strong>.
