The\nSchool of Leaders and the Secretariat have finalized plans for our next\nCursillo. Both the Men\u2019s Cursillo and\nthe Women\u2019s Cursillo are scheduled for October 22 – October 25, 2020, at the\nKing\u2019s House. For a number of reasons,\nwe have decided to have both the Men\u2019s Cursillo and the Women\u2019s Cursillo in the\nsame place and at the same time. We have\nhad many lengthy discussions and reviews of the Cursillo schedule and the\nKing\u2019s House venue to determine if it is feasible to host both of the Weekends\nat the same time and place while maintaining separation between the Men and\nWomen. The conclusion is that, with the\nhelp of the Holy Spirit along with careful schedule planning and cooperation\nbetween the Rector and Rectora, we will be able to successfully hold both\nCursillos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many\nof our current volunteers are completing their terms of office in the near\nfuture. We have already had several\nrecent changes. Cheryl Rajski has\nreplaced Laura Veach as the Precursillo Chair, and Margie Reaka will be taking\nover the School of Leaders from John Schaberg. \nI would like to thank Laura and John for their contribution to Cursillo\nduring the past three years. I would\nalso like to thank Margie and Cheryl for saying \u201cyes\u201d and accepting the\nchallenge to manage two important Secretariat Chairs. Changes are in the works for other Cursillo\npositions which will be announced in the next few weeks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\nalso have a small group working to improve and standardize our Cursillo\nformation practices. In a search for best practices, we are also reviewing\nCursillo formation practices from other Region IV dioceses and considering them\nfor adoption. This effort should\nimprove how our teams prepare for our annual Cursillos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\nhope everyone is having a very prayerful Lent and is looking forward to Holy\nWeek and a wonderful celebration of Easter. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
